HAAM Ham Radio Operators
We’re a group of amateur radio enthusiasts coming together to exchange experiences, strength, and hope as we value the principles of the AA program. (Ham Radio is mentioned in the book LIVING SOBER.
“As a substitute for a meeting, when attendance is impossible, we may call AA friends on the telephone or by ham radio; or we may hold a meeting in our minds while reading some AA material.” – LIVING SOBER
You DO NOT need to be a member of the AA program to join us, all amateurs are welcome. We encourage any licensed ham radio operators to join us. We talk weather, ham radio and personal issues. No politics or religion.

We have two meetings, one on HF Radio, the other on CQ200.
- HAAM HF Net Radio Schedule Net meets every Thursday on 14.316 MHz at 12:30 Eastern, 11:30 Central, 10:30 Mountain, and 09:30 Pacific time.

CQ200 Software For Windows, Linux, Mac (Phones too.)
Some of us are in restricted circumstances and use CQPlace.com and CQ200 because we are unable to use HF radio, others find the time more convenient, while one joins us regularly from Europe. Please Note: All frequencies are available for any class of license including tech. Information is available from CQPlace.com on this VOIP internet service for hams.
We have a Facebook page to contact members and set up schedules on the air and just to keep in touch. To join send email to southdakotaham@outlook.com and I will add you to the HAAM Group/Friends of Bill W. Facebook page.
